Spent the entire day in Dinorwic Quarry, most of the time spent on the blondin gallery, these winding houses were used to ferry via the blondin the removed slate, then up to the railway.
For the next week or so most of my work will concentrate on this subject, for a project website. Yes I know they're a few out there regarding the Welsh slate mines, but I do want to give my creative angle on this.
