Alas Gritstone season is here...

Well after much rain this year despite apprantly having some seasonal sun, and record highs in temperature again? It would seem the long wait is over, for many of us who enjoy the sudden drop in temperature.

The coldness of the rock pulls me once again towards the Gristone edges of the Peak District, Englands' playground, I call it.

To be honest am happy climbing, anywhere in Britain. But for many of us who prefer the Gritstone, know only too well that the cold conditions, towards the end of the year offer up the best friction, to able to stick those hard routes or problems on the gritstone edges.

What I would like is for those who are just as passionate about climbing as I am, to share your views with me.
